I had
bought two Paper Tole pictures many years ago when
I had lived in Adelaide. This
was something I had wanted to learn for a long time. My first attempt in learning this craft was made very
enjoyable with the experience and patience that was
shown by Deborah.
Though our class was small we were supplied with
a very large range of accessories in which to complete
our first Paper Tole. Also coffee, Tea and cake were
supplied. This was achieved over two weekends in
a lovely craft centre in Mundaring. Deborah had supplied
us with written notes that were easy to understand
and had taken us through the paper tole procedure
step by step. Once our Paper Tole creations were
finished Deborah helped us go through the process
of choosing which frame would suit our finished product.
Deborah had taken the time to bring in her own wonderful
collection to inspire us, even though the class was
small. We were also able to purchase our future projects
from Deborah as these were also on display. I had
a desire to purchase a picture that was amazing,
but instead of taking my money Deborah had explained
that I had not had enough experience to achieve this
and that I had still more to learn. I will definitely
be doing the advance classes with Deborah.
Deborah has also made herself available after hours
in case we have any questions we need to ask her
about our projects. This I have found invaluable
in finishing my other projects at home.
Deborah has a unique way of making you feel you
can achieve anything with the positive
way she conducts her classes. I would highly recommend
DCCrafts and Deborah Wilson to anyone wishing to
learn the art of Paper Tole.
