I attended a Paper Tole class at DCCrafts in Mundaring with Deborah Wilson over two weekends. This was my first attempt at a paper craft and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Our class was small and we received excellent tuition from Deborah. We were provided with comprehensive written notes, and shown step by step how to produce our creations. The atmosphere at the Mundaring Arts Centre was conductive to creating. Clean, bright and cheerful. All our materials were provided and we were able to purchase more kits and accessories if we wished to. Deborah helped us select frames to compliment our masterpieces.

We viewed some of the fabulous works that Deborah herself had created over the years, many of which we would love to be able to do in time.

Deborah answered all our questions and queries with ease and has provided an “after hours” service to us.

My positive experience with this class and the feedback I have received from Deborah, has encouraged me to complete two fairy paper tole pictures, of which I am very proud. I have two more projects in the pipeline after which I hope to do another class to learn more advanced methods.

I would recommend DCCrafts and Deborah to anyone who wishes to learn this creative hobby. Deborah’s method of teaching makes it extremely easy to master and a pleasure to experience
